We were contacted by a customer whose limited mobility meant they were was struggling with the stairs in their home. The house featured a tight staircase with turns, covering multiple floors, which was becoming increasingly unsafe to navigate.

The customer opted for an Ergo Ultimate curved stairlift, which is designed and manufactured here in Great Britain by Platinum Stairlifts. We designed and installed the bespoke rail to match the unique curvature of the staircase.

Our in-house stairlift engineers ensured a seamless experience:

• Swift Installation: The stairlift was installed efficiently, with great care taken to preserve the look of the home. Angled travel ensures that the stairlift fits throughout the journey without issue.
• Full Home Covered: With start and stop points on the ground floor, first floor and second floor, all levels of the home are covered.
• Full Handover: We provided a complete demonstration, making sure both the user and her family were confident in its safe operation.
• Staircase Access Maintained: The existing handrails remained intact for use by other household members, while the stairlift seat and carriage is kept out of the way when not in use.
